Maxcom encoders convert video and audio HD-SDI stream to high rate MPEG-2 DVB-ASI and IP formats’ using Sony 4:2:2 MPEG2 CODEC for compression. High-quality MPEG2 video and up to eight channels of embedded audio is available on ASI BNC port in real time Uncompressed HD-SDI is compressed input to ASI (MPEG2 TS) and IP with programmable bit-rates from 17.5 to 100Mbps.
