GigXtream – Dual Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Optic Transceiver

MX5000GX2 Series is a Dual Gigabit Ethernet Transmitter/Receiver that repeats TWO Gigabit Ethernet signals on ONE fiber optic wavelength. The MX5000GX2 uses TDM technology to multiplex two Gigabit Ethernet signals and thus maintains each Gigabit Ethernet’s stream integrity. The MX5000GX2 can be configured with 1310, 1550, CWDM or DWDM – 100 GHz wavelength lasers. The MX5000GX2 version includes SNMP management. MX5000 chassis holds up to 4 MX5000GX2 Gigabit Ethernet DWDM cards. The MX5000GX2 has easy-to-read link status LED’s for continuous status reports on LAN and WAN link status. It uses standard SC/APC fiber optic connectors and is IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-FX compliant and operates with all devices that adhere to this standard.
