The MX-T1500AC series direct modulated transmitter delivers high performance signal transmission of NTSC, QAM, digital or compressed digital signals from 50-1000 MHz for CATV applications. It maintains good MER performance up to 30km.
- General Details
The Maxcom MX-T1500A is a 1550nm direct modulation optical transmitter with high index and AGC function. Maxcom incorporates a high linearity and a low chirp DFB laser, built-in pre-distortion compensation and AGC, APC, ATC closed loop control, which improve the performance index. It may be used in a FTTx application for transmitting Digital QAM CATV and DOCSIS RF signals over fiber. This economical transmitter is optimized for networks under 30km using an EDFA. This transmitter may also be ordered with Optional WDM narrow-band laser (standard ITU wavelengths available).

EDFA for CATV, Multiple Output, 1550nm
The EDFA has multiple output ports, used in FTTx distribution networks. This optical amplifier is packaged in a 19” rack mount housing. The EDFA can be ordered with 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 output ports and various output powers ranging from +16.5 to 23 dBm per port.
