The Media Converter has two standard open SFP+/SFP slots for any type of SFP+ modules. Provides Flexibility by allowing you to use it to convert a Singlemode fiber connection to Multimode fiber connection. Can be used to converter fiber to copper when using a RJ45 SFP+. Use it as a Singlemode Dual Fiber to Singlemode Single Fiber Converter.  Use it to change wavelengths, for example, convert from a DWDM channel to a different DWDM or CWDM channel. Use it for Re-amplification, Re-shaping, and Re-timing. Signal Repeater & Converter, all in one. Use it to extend the reach of your SFP’s. Use multiple units to multiplex multiple wavelengths on a single fiber strand. May be used with an EDFA to extend the transmission distance. There are many uses since the slots can be populated with any SFP+ types that you choose to use.
