- General Details
MX2704 is a Quad DVB-ASI /SDI fiber optic multiplexer that translates transmission signals from a copper media to singlemode optical signal. The multiplexers do not combine DVB-ASI or SD SDI signals but rather provide two separate FULL DVB-ASI pipes to the receiver location. The MX2704 uses 4 BNC connector for the copper inputs and can be configured for SC, SC(APC), ST and FC optical connectors. Typical applications include multiplexing and sending opticly point to point 4 DVB-ASI or 4 SD-SDI or both . The MX2704 translates the signal and transmits the signal over one fiber strand. The MX2704 has easy-to-read diagnostic LED’s for system status.
