- General Details
MX2702 is a Dual DVB-ASI or SD SDI or both – fiber optic multiplexer , that translates signals from a copper media to singlemode optical signal. The multiplexers do not combine DVB-ASI or SD-SDI signals but rather provide two separate FULL DVB-ASI /SDI pipes to the receiver location. The MX2702 uses a BNC connector for the copper inputs and can be configured for SC, SC(APC), ST and FC optical connectors. Typical applications include multiplexing DVB-ASI for point-to-point applications. The MX2702 translates the signal and transmits the signal over one fiber strand. The MX2702 has easy-to-read diagnostic LED’s for system status.
